精密无缝钢管冷拔模具的失效分析与表面改性

    Failure Analysis and Surface Modification of Cold-drawing Dies for Precision Seamless Steel Pipe

    • 摘要: 分析了精密无缝钢管冷拔内模的失效情况,研究了镀Cr和等离子渗氮Cr12MoV的磨损性能与磨损机理。生产应用表明:犁削和黏着磨损是镀Cr模具失效的主要原因;等离子渗氮Cr12MoV合金的渗氮层厚度约为0.23 mm,表面精度高,硬度和摩擦磨损特性优于镀Cr的Cr12MoV合金,在磨损过程中出现犁削特征,也没有导致模具表面产生剥落现象;等离子渗氮模具形状精度(圆度)高,使用寿命较镀Cr模具高约50%。

       

      Abstract: Analyzed here in the paper is the failure of the cold-drawing inner dies for the precision seamless steel pipe.Also studied are the wear performance and wear mechanism of the Cr-plated and plasma-nitrided Cr12MoV die.Relevant production application result shows that micro-ploughing wear and adhesive wear act as the main causes for failure of the Cr-plated die;the plasma-nitrided Cr12MoV alloy die has a nitrided layer about 0.23 mm thick,and has high surface precision,and its hardness and friction wear characteristics are better than those of the Cr-plated Cr12MoV alloy die.therefore when ploughing characteristic occurs during the wear process,no surface peeling of the die is caused;and due to its high shape accuracy(i.e.,the roundness),the plasma-nitrided die has a service span as longer than that of the Cr plated one by about 50%.
