Abstract: Analyzed in the article are the main failure types and the causes of the flying saw blade. Accordingly method for extending the service life of the said blade is proposed. It is regarded via the analysis that the blade service life shall be tremendously extended by means of such actions as properly setting the sawing parameters,avoiding irregular forming location when cutting,selecting proper tooth shape,slecting proper tooth pitch as per pipe wall thickness,enhancing the cooling effectiveness as well timely adjusting the clamping block concentricity of the flying saw,which can preventing collapse,buckling and pasting of the blade teeth.
