相控阵超声波探伤对UOE焊管管端斜向缺陷的检测研究

    Study on Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing for Detecting Oblique Defect at UOE Welded Pipe End

    • 摘要: 简要介绍了UOE焊管管端斜向缺陷的特点,并分析了该斜向缺陷的检测难点。通过分析常用无损检测技术,选择采用超声波探伤与管端磁粉探伤共同检测的方式可更好地检测到管端斜向缺陷,避免漏检。针对超声波检测特点进行常规超声波及相控阵超声波两种不同检测方式检测斜向缺陷的试验研究,找到了一种相控阵超声波探伤方式用于检测大外径钢管斜向缺陷的检测技术,检测灵敏度高,可靠性强。

       

      Abstract: Briefed here in the paper are the characteristics of the oblique defect at the end of UOE welded pipe,and also analyzed are the difficulties as staying the detecting such oblique defect. Based on relevant analysis of the commonly-used NDT techniques,the method as combining the UT technique with the pipe-end magnetic particle detecting technique is employed to more effectively find out the said pipe-end oblique defect,and avoid any missed detection. Addressing the UT characteristics,two different UT inspection methods,i.e.,the conventional one and the phased array one are used to conduct an experimental research for inspection of the oblique defect. As a result an inspection technique for the oblique defect of the large-sized steel pipe is identified,i.e.,the phased array UT technique which features high detection sensitivity and high reliability.
