    • Analyzed in the essay are the chemical composition of and the technical requirements for the L80-13Cr oil well pipe. Also elaborated is the rolling process for the oil well pipe. Moreover the corrosion-resistance of the said pipe is studied. It is identified via the analysis and the study that the L80-13Cr oil well pipe as heat treated has all of its properties up to applicable requirements,and has high toughness;given the corrosive conditions are the same,the gas phase corrosion rate and the liquid phase corrosion rate of the L80-13Cr pipe are separately 1/30 and 1/300 of that of the N80Q oil well pipe,showing slight corrosion,which means good corrosion-resistance.
