  • Along with gradual elimination of welded steel gas vessels, hi-pressure gas vessels made of seamless steel tubes have been more and more popular in the country since 60s. The author introduces the general situation of production of seamless steel tubes for hi-pressure vessel purpose overseas, technical requirements, manufacturing process and development of domestic production of such kind of tubes, and the current production situation and development of such product in the country.
