IMPROVEMENT ON MIDDLE-SAWING MACHINE FOR COLD-DRAWN SEAMLESS STEEL TUBES

For cold-drawn seamless steel tube production,cutting of intermediate tube,i.e.middle-sawing is regarded as one of the rather important auxiliary operation steps.In a bid of improving tube-cutting tolerance,reducing labour intensity and increasing operation efficiency,one middle-sawing machine has been designed and manufactured by Yantai Steel Tube General Plant,Shandong.Relevant operation practice shows that the said new sawer has such advangates as easy operation,high tolerance of length-specifying,less consumption of saw blades and reduced intensity of labour,being up to relevant production requirements.
