NEW STEEL-PIPE FORMING PROCESSES

A new tube-rolling equipment——the rotary ring mill has been put into trial-rolling.Variouspipes such as high-fin pipe,spiral internal-ribbed welded pipe and powder-layer clad pipe have beensuccessfully produced with the mill.Another pipe-forming process is the combined laser technique forelectric-welded pipes which is under research for practical use.
