OVERSEAS PRODUCTION OF LARGE-SIZED STEEL TUBES

The co-authors present a detail introduction to some foreign manufacture processes for large-sized steel tubes, including the hot-extrusion process for stainless steel tubes and Pilger Mill process respectively employed by Remscheid and Rath of Mannesmannrohren-Werke AG, Germany, the CPE process used by Dinslaken, Benteler AG, Germany, MPM process used by Muhleim, Germany and the tube-making processes and equipment employed in Dalmine SpA, Italy and New Tubemeuse Belgium.
