RESULT OF MODIFICATION ON WITHDRAWL-STRAIGHTENING UNIT OF R5500 CURVE CONTINUOUS CASTING MACHINE AND CALCULATION OF THE WITHDRAWAL FORCE

Based on the calculation of the withdrawal force for the above said continuous casting machine a modification programme was made,under which the withdrawal-control would be changed from position-control into pressure control.After being put into production,the modified withdrawal machines have brought greater output of cast billets with improved quality,showing consider-able effect of the technical modiflcation.
