  • Elaborated here in the assay are the application of PLC,HMI and inverter drive control technique to the automatic packing machine for stainless steel pipes,and the configuration and operation process of the packing machine itself. The PLC,HMI and the inverter made by Siemens are chosen for the electric design for the finished pipe packing line,and the program for fixed speed change-over is determined;the PLC program and the HMI picture program are made;and the data of the inverter are set and described. Thanks to employment of the PLC and HMI control technique,the problem with change-over of the inverter’s running speed is fixed so that steel pipe packing quality is assured,and automatic control of the packing machine realized.
