  • Briefed in the article are the main aspects of the a full-automatic hydrostatic testing machine for steel tube end,including the major parameters,the process flow,the equipment configuration and the key techniques as applied.Also described are the details about the actual site operation of the testing machine.Proposed are the plan for improvement and optimization of the said machine.The actual operation result shows that this tester is in possession of such advantages as simplified structure,low costs,reliable system,consistent testing pressure,and remarkably low failure rate,having been up to relevant designed requirements.It is proposed that during the subsequent design process,the speed of the steel pipe as running into/out of the dies should be properly increased to further enhance the productivity of the equipment,and the water-collecting device should be modified to ensure 100% circular utilization of the pressure testing medium.
