Abstract: The development history of the microalloyed non-quenched and tempered steel is briefed, and the achievements in the domestic field of research on microalloyed non-quenched and tempered oil well pipe is introduced, giving details concerning permissible deviations for the chemical composition of the microalloyed steel of the N80 oil well pipe and the metallographic structures resulting in the techniques for proper control of rolling and cooling operations.
